Use the inbox
Read and reply to emails, texts and calls, assign conversations and leave internal comments.
Updated 18 October 2026
Find conversations
Open Inbox from the side menu. The left column lists your mailboxes and channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp, calls). Select a conversation to read it.
Reply
Choose Email, SMS or WhatsApp, write your message and press Send. Emails show ✓ Sent, ✓ Delivered, opened and clicked status.
Comment privately
Choose Comment to leave a note for your team. 🔒 Only your team can see comments.
Close and reopen
Press Close conversation when it's dealt with, and Reopen if it comes back.
Flag, pin and delete
Hover over a conversation (or right-click it) to Flag, Pin or Delete it. Flagged conversations get a red flag by the time, a red line down the left and a light yellow shade. Pinned conversations show an orange pin. Deleted conversations go to the Deleted folder, where you can restore them.
Right-click menu
Right-click a conversation for Open, Open in new tab, Reply, Reply all, Forward, Mark as unread or Mark as read, Flag, Pin, Assign to me, Close, Copy link and Delete. Copy link copies a direct link to the conversation so you can share it with a teammate.
Reply all, forward, Cc and Bcc
When you open an email from your connected mailbox, the top right shows Reply, Reply all, Forward and a bin. The header shows who it was sent To and who was Cc'd. In the reply box, click Cc or Bcc to open each line separately. As you type a name or email, Epicurus Pro suggests people from your contacts first, then people who have emailed you. Use the arrow keys and Enter or Tab to pick one.
Attachments
Conversations with an attachment show a paperclip next to the time.
Distribution lists and shared addresses
Emails that reach you through a distribution list or shared address (for example [email protected]) are included with your own email. Nothing to set up.
When your agent reads your emails out or summarises them, it tells you when one came through a list, for example "this one was sent to [email protected]". Emails sent straight to you are read as normal. Your agent also checks every folder, not just the Inbox, so emails moved by Outlook rules are still picked up. Deleted, junk, sent and draft emails are left out.
