Road charges: drop-offs, tolls, Congestion Charge and ULEZ
Get reminded to pay airport drop-off, Dartford, Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges before you get a fine.
Updated 12 October 2026
Your agent uses your location to spot when you've driven through somewhere that charges, and reminds you to pay before the deadline.
It covers:
- airport drop-off zones (a quick in-and-out counts as a drop-off)
- the Dartford Crossing
- the London Congestion Charge and ULEZ
- Clean Air Zones
Pay or log it
Ask "what road charges do I owe?". Your agent asks which car and whether the trip was personal or business, then can pay it for you with your company card after you approve. Business charges are added to your expenses under Parking & tolls.
Set up your car
On each vehicle, open Road charges to:
- say whether it's ULEZ / Clean Air Zone compliant (compliant cars aren't charged)
- turn on TfL Auto Pay or Dart Charge if you already pay automatically, so you won't be reminded
You only get reminders if you have a car in My Garage. Always check the official site if you're unsure, as charges and deadlines can change.
