Let your agent ring a venue for you

Your agent can phone a restaurant, hotel or venue from your business number to book, check or ask something, then report back.

Updated 18 October 2026

Ask your agent to ring somewhere for you, for example "Ring The Ivy and book a table for four at 7pm on Friday".

How it works

  1. The agent finds the venue's number (or uses the one you give it).
  2. It calls from your Epicurus Pro business number and introduces itself by name as your digital colleague.
  3. It handles automated menus, asks for what you need and confirms the details.
  4. When the call ends, it reports back in chat and sends you a push notification, with a summary of what was agreed.

Deposits and card holds

If the venue needs a card to hold the booking, the agent asks you to approve the amount using Agent payments. See Agent payments.

What you need

A calling number connected to your account. If you don't have one, the agent gives you the venue's number so you can ring yourself. See Set up calling and SMS.

Bookings made by phone

When the call ends with a booking, it is saved to Travel › My bookings with a 📞 Booked by phone tag, the notes from the call and a Listen to the call link. It is also added to your calendar with reminders.

  • Moving a booking: ask the agent to ring and move it. The old booking is marked Moved, its calendar event is removed and its reminders stop.
  • Cancelling: the booking is marked Cancelled and taken out of your calendar.

The push notification has a View booking button that opens the booking straight away. See My bookings.
